For a company such as BALDUZZI TULLIO S.r.l. in its current manufacturing site, the machine tools for machining the various components of hydraulic cylinders play an essential role.
Investing in technological evolution and updating the machinery that is used becomes not only fundamental in economic and efficiency terms, but essential for the high quality standard which guarantees precision.
MACHINE TOOLS
The workshop produces cylinders with bores from 20 to 400 mm and lengths up to 6,000 mm using CNC lathes provided by the most interesting manufacturers on the market (CMZ – Mori Seiki – Maxnovo – Doosan – Biglia) machining centres, (Mori Seiki – Doosan – Kafo – PFG), many of which comply with industry 4.0., as well as all those machines complementary to production such as centering machines for shafts, sawing machines, band saws, milling machines, grinding machines and honing machines.
WELDING
The welding phase is of particular importance in machining hydraulic cylinders.
The workshop uses ABB robotic systems, welding lathes, positioning devices and automated studding machines.
LIFTING SYSTEMS
The different areas of production, storage and logistics are equipped with various lifting and transport systems; bridge cranes, jib cranes, forklifts and pneumatic manipulators which make every aspect of machining easy and effective.
AUTOMATED VERTICAL WAREHOUSING
The use of automated and computerized vertical warehousing both in the Lodrone as well as Darzo production areas allows us to increase efficiency levels and consequently speed in delivery while maintaining adequate stocks of complementary parts and mechanical components produced and which are necessary during cylinder assembly.
PAINTING PLANTS
In the Darzo plant, in addition to the logistics area for incoming and outgoing goods, a modern painting plant is in operation with a capacity of 250 cylinders.
